Our primary goals were to ascertain capex spending expectations, pricing trends,
technology preferences, vendor selection and legacy versus new capital purchases. Our list
of respondents included AT&T, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom and O2. Four North American,
13 European and 8 Asian carriers are represented in our results.
